11.06.2025 / Prices for new Japanese cars increased by 146%

The marketing agency NAPI analyzed the dynamics of average prices for new and used* cars. The average price for a new Japanese car reached 7.8 million rubles in May 2025, which was a 146.4% rise on February 2022. Such a sharp growth can be explained not only by rising prices, but also by a change in the model composition of cars supplied to Russia (the share of more expensive cars has grown). The average price for a used Japanese car was 1.9 million rubles in May 2025, which was a 41.8% rise on February 2022. Compared to May last year, the average price for a used Japanese car decreased by 7.1%.
