01.09.2025 / Number of auto loans is growing, auto leasing is catching up

The marketing agency NAPI analyzed the dynamics of auto loans and auto leasing. Thus, in July 2025, 25.1 thousand vehicles** were leased*, which was a 37.7% decline on July 2024. According to the NBCH, 98.3 thousand auto loans were issued in July of the current year, which was a 38.3% decline on the last year's figures. Over the year, from July 2024 to July 2025, the peak in auto loans took place in September 2024 (170.1 thousand units), and in auto leasing - in October 2024 (49.3 thousand units). By the beginning of 2025, the number of both auto loans issued and vehicles leased reached a minimum. The growth in auto loans that began in March was interrupted in May, but by July the last year’s end figures were reached. The number of vehicles leased continues to fluctuate, and it has not yet been possible to approach the figures of 2024.
