06.10.2025 / New LCV leasing fell by almost 30%

According to the marketing agency NAPI, corporate clients purchased 49.3 thousand new and 30.9 thousand used LCV in January-August 2025. Last year, 24.3% more new LCV (65.1 thousand units) and 4% fewer used LCV (29.8 thousand units) were sold.

At the same time, 25.5 thousand new LCV were issued to corporate clients through operational and financial leasing over the first eight months of the current year, representing a 29.4% decrease on the similar period of 2024, when 36.1 thousand new vehicles were sold. Also, 4.3 thousand used LCV were leased, which was a 2.4% rise on last year's figure, when 4.2 thousand units were sold.

Financial leasing accounted for 55.2% in new LCV sales in January-August 2024, its share decreased to 51.4% in the same period of 2025. Financial leasing accounted for 14.1% in used LCV sales in 2024, this year its share fell to 13.9%. In January-August 2024 and 2025, 0.2 thousand new LCV and only 5 used ones were taken under operational leasing.
