According to the marketing agency NAPI, 10.2 thousand new buses were sold in January-November 2025, which was a 40.4% decline on the previous year, when 17.1 thousand buses were sold.
Sales of buses 10-12 meter long experienced the sharpest decline, down 64.1% to 1.9 thousand units. Sales of 6-8 meter buses decreased by 37.8% to 2.7 thousand units, while those of 8-10 meter buses - by 32.6% to 3.1 thousand units. Buses longer than 12 meters suffered the least overall negative trend, with their sales down by 12.2% to 2.5 thousand units.
Over the year, the share of Russian brand vehicles grew in sales of 8-10 m (+4.3 p.p.) and over 12 m (+11.5 p.p.) buses, but decreased in sales of 10-12 m buses (-13.9 p.p.). The share of Chinese brand vehicles increased in sales of 6-8 m (+0.2 p.p.) and 10-12 m (+1.5 p.p.) buses, but decreased in sales of 8-10 m (-4 p.p.) and over 12 m (-5.9 p.p.) buses.
