According to the marketing agency NAPI, the Chinese car population totaled 3.3 million units as of July 1, 2026.

Chinese cars account for 6.9% in Russia's total car population. In 24 regions, the share of Chinese cars exceeds the national average. Among the regions, this share is highest in Saint Petersburg (11.0%), Sevastopol (10.9%), and Moscow (10.3%).

It should be noted that the Chinese car population is rather “fresh”. The largest number of cars were manufactured in 2023 (25.0%) and 2024 (28.3%). New used cars aged under 5 years (2022-2026 y.m.) account for 73.9% of the population, or 2.5 million units.
