To solve customer problems, Russian Automotive Market Research specialists regularly supplement databases with up-to-date information. Now the more detailed information on lessors is included in the database of financial leasing contracts*.

Following results of eight months of 2020, 124.69 thousand financial leasing contracts for vehicles and trailers were concluded in Russia.** This is 1% more than was concluded in the same period of 2019.***

In January-August 2020, 140.90 thousand vehicles and trailers were transferred to financial leasing, which was a 3% decline year-on-year.

For the reporting period, the number of leased buses fell by 12%, cars – by 4%, light commercial vehicles and trucks – by 3% and 1%, respectively. Over the first eight months of 2020, lessees purchased 2% more trailers than in the same period of 2019.
