According to Russian Automotive Market Research, 9.6 thousand trailers and semi-trailers were purchased under financial leasing over the first nine months of 2020, which was a 2.1% rise on the first nine months of 2019.
There is a trend to increase the validity of leasing contracts in the financial leasing of trailers: 39 months in January-September 2020 against 36 months in the similar period of 2019.
As for lessees, the largest share of leased trailers and semi-trailers in 2020 belongs to microenterprises – 41% (34% in the similar period of 2019). In addition to microenterprises, the share of medium-sized enterprises and private entrepreneurs increased this year.
