According to the marketing agency NAPI, 6.9 thousand new buses were sold in January-September 2025, which was a 50.1% decline on the previous year, when 13.8 thousand buses were sold.
Sales of buses 10-12 meter long saw the largest decline over the year – by 69.2% to 1.4 thousand units. Sales of 6-8 meter buses decreased by 47.2% to 1.8 thousand units, while those of 8-10 meter buses - by 43% to 2.1 thousand units. Buses longer than 12 meters experienced the least negative impact, with their sales falling by 29.4% to 1.6 thousand units.
Along with the significant decline in sales, the share of 10-12 meter buses also fell, from 31.7% to 19.6%. Against this background, the share of other buses increased: +6.9 p.p. for buses longer than 12 meters, +3.8 p.p. for buses 8-10 m long, +1.4 p.p. for buses 6-8 m long.
