SITRAK C7H tractor unit leased is taken as an example. A legal entity operating the vehicle in Moscow has been selected as the owner. The vehicle ownership period is 60 months (5 years). The average annual mileage is 200 thousand km.
The analysis showed that the cost of purchasing a gas-powered tractor unit initially exceeds that of purchasing a diesel-powered vehicle by 3.1 million rubles. However, during further operation, a CNG tractor unit turns out to be more profitable. The total cost of ownership of a tractor unit equipped with a gas engine per year is 2 million rubles cheaper than that of a tractor unit with a diesel engine. The total cost of ownership of a gas-powered tractor unit over five years is cheaper by 10 million rubles (30%).
