17.11.2025 / Used electric and hybrid car prices have fallen over the past year

The marketing agency NAPI analyzed the dynamics of average prices for new and used electric and plug-in hybrid cars.

Thus, over the month, from September to October 2025, the price for new electric cars decreased by 13.7%, while that for new hybrid cars fell by 0.7%. The drop in prices for new electric cars in October can be explained by increase in offers for electric cars manufactured in Russia, which are, on average, cheaper than imported ones. Meanwhile, the cost of used electric cars grew by 5.7%, while that for used hybrid cars - by 11.6%.

Over the year, from October 2024 to October 2025, the price for new electric cars remained virtually unchanged at 6.86 million rubles. The price for new hybrid cars was up by 12.5%, reaching 8.1 million rubles. At the same time, used cars depreciated: in October of the current year, the cost of the electric car was 3.39 million rubles (-19.1%), while that of the one – 4.41 million rubles (-16.9%).
