09.03.2023 / The share of Russian buses is falling

According to the NAPI (National Industrial Information Agency), in January 2023, the new bus market grew by 39.4%. In January of the current year, 1.3 thousand buses were sold against 0.9 thousand units in the previous year. Sales of Chinese buses grew at the fastest pace this year (+317%), as a result, the share of Chinese vehicles increased 3-fold and reached 15%. YUTONG buses were in the greatest demand, their sales increased by 590.5%. Sales of Belarusian buses also grew better than the market (+104%): their share was 8%. Sales of Russian vehicles did not grow at such a pace (+20%), as a result, their share fell by 12.4%.
