10.03.2025 / How have prices for Korean cars changed

The marketing agency NAPI analyzed the dynamics of average prices for new and used* cars of Korean brands. The average price for a new Korean car reached 5.1 million rubles in February 2025, which was a 2.5-fold rise on February 2022. Such a sharp increase can be explained not only by rise in prices, but also by a change in the model structure of cars supplied to Russia, since it is almost impossible to import low-cost cars given the current restrictions. The average price for the used Korean car was 1.6 million rubles in February 2025, which was a 45% rise on February 2022. Compared to February last year, the average price for a used Korean car decreased by 8.3%.
