07.10.2025 / Chinese vehicles account for less than 2% of the LCV population

According to the marketing agency NAPI, the LCV* population numbered 5.3 million vehicles as of July 1, 2025. Vans account for 43% or 2.6 million units of them. Dropside vehicles or curtainsiders occupy the second place with a share of 24.5% of the population (1.3 million units). Buses account for 12.4% (650 thousand units), while pickups and minivans - for 7.2% each (381 thousand and 376 thousand units, respectively). It should be noted that the share of Chinese vehicles in the LCV population is only 1.7% (92 thousand units) of the LCV population, of which pickups account for 58.5%.
