08.10.2024 / Chinese tractor units and dumpers population

According to the marketing agency NAPI, as of July 1, 2024, the truck population includes 993.6 thousand dumpers and 821.6 thousand tractor units. These are the most in-demand truck types, with tractor units accounting for 24.4% of the population and tractor units accounting for 20.1%. The dumper population is dominated by Russian vehicles, with Chinese brands accounting for 11.5% so far. The share of Chinese brands in the tractor unit population is even smaller - 8.7%. As of July 1, 2024, Chinese brands account for 5.9% of the truck population.
