26.08.2020 / Ambulance production increased six-fold

According to Russian Automotive Market Research, 16.1 thousand special purpose vehicles were produced in Russia in the first half of 2020, which was a 5% decline on the result of the first half of 2019. In June 2020, the production of special purpose vehicles grew by 10%.

Following results of six months of 2020, the production of ambulances increased six-fold. Crane manipulator production grew as well (+11% year-on-year).

For the reporting period, the production of municipal vehicles decreased by 24% year-on-year. The production of dumpers and cranes fell by 13% and 4%, respectively.
