27.07.2026 / Results of vehicle, special purpose vehicle and agricultural machinery leasing in H I 2026
According to the marketing agency NAPI and the United Leasing Association (ULA), 150.8 thousand vehicles, special purpose vehicles, agricultural machinery and other land vehicles were leased in the first half of 2026, which was a 5.6% rise on the similar period of 2025, when 142.8 thousand units were sold.
Leasing of cars, trucks, and trailers/semi-trailers increased, primarily due to the used vehicle segment. Leasing of agricultural machinery (+38.3%) and special purpose vehicles (+27.2%) grew more significantly.
In vehicle leasing, supplies of used cars, LCV, trucks, and trailers/semi-trailers increased, while only supplies of used buses fell. As a result, the share of leasing in the used vehicle market increased in all segments except that of buses.
As for new vehicles, only leasing of buses grew, while leasing of new vehicles decreased in all other segments compared to the first half of last year. Nevertheless, the share of leasing became higher in all segments except for the car market, as new vehicle sales through other forms of financing (auto loans, loans, own funds, etc.) decreased more sharply.
