In January-September 2020, the market revenue of new trailers and semi-trailers[1] amounted to 55 billion rubles, which was a 0.9% decline on January-September 2019.
Negative dynamics of the market revenue was caused by a 3.8% drop in new trailer sales.

In January-September 2020, used trailer sales decreased by 8.8%. In this regard, the used trailer market revenue fell by 8.7% and amounted to 58 billion rubles.

New trailer market
The leader by financial results among regional markets became the Moscow region. In January-September 2020, new trailers on 6.2 billion rubles were sold in the region. The market revenue of Tatarstan Republic and Moscow, which also entered the top three, amounted to 5.6 billion rubles and 3.3 billion rubles, respectively.
The largest increase in the market revenue was shown by the Tatarstan Republic (+98.3%). Over the first nine months of 2020, new trailer sales in this region doubled.
Positive dynamics of sales and the market revenue among TOP-10 regions2 remained in the Khanty-Mansi AR and the Chelyabinsk region.

In January-September 2020, SCHMITZ became the leader by financial results. 9.1 billion rubles were spent on trailers of this brand for the reporting period. It was followed by TONAR, sales of which in monetary terms amounted to 5.1 billion rubles. TOP-3 also included KRONE with a financial result of 3.0 billion rubles.
The largest increase in the market revenue was shown by TSP (+60.9%). Over the first nine months of 2020, sales of TSP trailers in quantitative terms grew by 58.7%.
Four more TOP-10 brands, namely TONAR, NEFAZ, SESPEL and GRUNWALD, showed positive dynamics of the market revenue.

Used trailer market
The largest market revenue in the used trailer market for the reporting period was shown by the Krasnodar region – 3.6 billion rubles. TOP-3 also included the Moscow region and Tatarstan Republic, in which 3.6 billion rubles and 2.9 billion rubles were spent on used trailers, respectively.
Positive dynamics of the market revenue remained in three TOP-10 regions – Tatarstan Republic, Stavropol and Voronezh regions.

In January-September 2020 the best financial result in the used trailer market belonged to SCHMITZ. 12.4 billion rubles were spent on used trailers of this brand. It was followed by KRONE and KOEGEL. Sales of used KRONE and KOEGEL trailers in money terms amounted to 8.1 billion rubles and 2.6 billion rubles, respectively.
Three TOP-10 brands, namely TONAR, GRUNWALD and SESPEL, maintained positive dynamics of the market revenue due to sales growth of 20.6%, 19.8% and 8.6%, respectively.
