In January-September 2020, 50.67 thousand new trucks were sold in the Russian market, which was a 7.1% decline year-on-year.
In September 2020, sales of new trucks increased by 17.1% on September 2019 and amounted to 7.05 thousand units.
New truck sales of the market leader KAMAZ amounted to 2.83 thousand units in September 2020, which was a 43.7% rise on the result of September 2019. The second place was occupied by GAZ, sales of which decreased by 15.5% to 0.71 thousand units. TOP-3 also included SCANIA, which sold 0.57 thousand trucks (+90%).
The Russian GAZ, as well as European VOLVO, MERCEDES-BENZ and MAN were TOP-10 brands to show the reduction in sales. The largest increase in truck sales was shown by HYUNDAI – 2 times more than in September 2019.

Tatarstan became the leader among regional markets in September 2020, its new truck sales increased almost 3-fold. It was followed by Moscow and the Moscow region.
A number of regional TOP-20 markets showed negative sales dynamics: Khanty-Mansi AR, Nizhny Novgorod and Smolensk regions. New truck sales in the Krasnoyarsk region, as well as the Republics of Tatarstan and Sakha, increased by more than 50 %.

New bus sales decreased by 15% in September
In January-September 2020, 8.98 thousand new buses were sold in the Russian market, which was a 8.5% decline year-on-year.
In September 2020 the new bus market decreased by 14.6% on September 2019. A total of 1.05 thousand new buses were sold in the Russian market in September 2020.
Bus sales of the market leader PAZ decreased by 11.4% in September and amounted to 0.62 thousand units. The second place was occupied by NEFAZ, sales of which grew by 77.8% to 0.16 thousand units TOP-3 also included LIAZ, which sold 0.12 thousand buses – by 42.9% less than in September 2019.
