Following results of seven months of 2020, 88.27 thousand financial leasing contracts for vehicles and trailers were concluded in Russia1. This is 21% less than in the same period of 20192.

In January-July 2020, 99.99 thousand vehicles and trailers were transferred to financial leasing, which was a 23% decline year-on-year.

In January-July 2020, the number of leased buses fell by 39%, LCV – by 29%, cars and trucks – by 24% and 21%, respectively. The minimum decline was shown by trailers and semi-trailers – 9%.

Special purpose vehicles

Following results of January-July 2020, the number of leasing contracts for special purpose vehicles increased by 3% on January-July 2019 and amounted to 10.90 thousand units.

For the reporting period, 12.49 thousand special purpose vehicles were transferred to financial leasing, which was a 1% rise year-on-year.

In January-July 2020, the number of leased agricultural vehicles decreased by 7%, while warehouse and road construction vehicles - by 5% and 3%, respectively.
