In January-October 2020, 58.00 thousand new trucks were sold in the Russian market, which was a 7.5% decline year-on-year.
In October 2020, sales of new trucks fell by 8.4% on October 2019 and amounted to 7.43 thousand units.
In October 2020 new truck sales of the market leader KAMAZ amounted to 2.82 thousand units, which was a 2.1% decrease on October 2019. The second place was occupied by SCANIA, sales of which increased by 37.5% to 0.66 thousand units. TOP-3 also included GAZ, which sold 0.65 thousand trucks (-27.8%).
The largest growth in truck sales among TOP-10 brands was shown by HYUNDAI (+81.8%).
Sales of two brands MAN and MERCEDES-BENZ fell by more than 30%.

The leader among regional markets in October 2020 became the Tatarstan Republic with new truck sales of 0.70 thousand units (+14.8%). It was followed by Moscow and the Moscow region.
Against the background of decline in demand for new trucks, eight regional TOP-20 markets showed positive sales dynamics. New truck sales in the Krasnoyarsk and Amur regions increased by more than 50%.

New bus sales grew by 18% in October
In January-October 2020, 10.32 thousand new buses were sold in the Russian market, which was a 5.8% decline year-on-year.
In October 2020 the market of new buses grew by 17.5% on October 2019. A total of 1.34 thousand new buses were sold in the Russian market in October 2020.
Bus sales of the market leader PAZ decreased by 20.0% in October 2020 and amounted to 0.52 thousand units. The second place was occupied by NEFAZ, sales of which increased 4-fold to 0.29 thousand units. TOP-3 also included LIAZ, which sold 0.27 thousand buses – by 92.9% more than in October 2019.
