New truck market

In January 2020 new truck sales amounted to 6.10 thousand units, which was a 19.1% rise on January 2019.

The traditional market leader KAMAZ sold 1.96 thousand new trucks in January 2020, having shown a 2.6% growth year-on-year. GAZ took the second place and increased its new truck sales by 21.1% to 0.69 thousand units. It was followed by the Swedish VOLVO, which sold 0.50 thousand trucks (+72.4%).

In January 2020 the leading positions by new truck sales were occupied by the Moscow region, Moscow and Khanty-Mansi AR.

New bus market

In January 2020 the new bus market grew by 51.4% to 1.09 thousand units.

Bus sales of the market leader Pavlovo bus plant amounted to 0.58 thousand units for the reporting period, which was a 38.1% rise year on-year.

TOP-10 brands by bus sales included 4 Chinese brands: GOLDEN DRAGON, YUTONG, KING LONG and HIGER.

Leaders in the new bus market became Krasnodar, Nizhny Novgorod and Moscow regions.
