A _TONAR%20became%20the%20leader%20in%20th ccording to Russian Automotive Market Research, in January-August 2020 sales of new trailers and semi-trailers¹ amounted to 18.19 thousand units, which was a 6.3% decline on January-August 2019.

In August 2020, new trailer sales decreased by 7.5% on August 2019 and amounted to 2.45 thousand units.

The leader in the trailer market changed: in August, sales of TONAR trailers increased by 32.1% and amounted to 0.37 thousand units. It should be noted that TONAR also became the market leader over the first eight months of 2020.

It was followed by SCHMITZ trailers, sales of which in August fell by 13.3% to 0.26 thousand units. The third place was occupied by NEFAZ, which sold 0.21 thousand trailers (-34.4% year-on-year).

The rating of regional new trailer markets in August 2020 was headed by Tatarstan Republic, in which sales increased by 62.5%.

TOP-3 regional markets also includes the Moscow region and Moscow. Demand for new trailers in the capital fell by 33.3%, while that in the Moscow region - by 25.0%.
