In January 2020 the new LCV1 market showed positive dynamics (+7.1%) and amounted to 8.16 thousand units.
In January 2020 the new LCV market leader GAZ sold 3.61 thousand light commercial vehicles (+12.1% on January 2019). It was followed by the Russian UAZ, sales of which fell by 5.0% and amounted to 1.51 thousand units. Ford sold 0.75 thousand new LCV (+11.9%).
In addition to UAZ, 3 more TOP-15 brands showed negative new LCV sales dynamics - LADA, VIS and FIAT.
In January 2020 Moscow, the Moscow region and Saint Petersburg took the leading positions by new LCV sales.

New car market
In January 2020 103.34 thousand new cars were sold in the Russian market – by 9.9% more than in January 2019.
Traditionally the market leader by sales was LADA, which sold 22.47 thousand cars (+0.9% year-on-year). It was followed by KIA and HYUNDAI, which increased their new car sales by 28.2% and 14.9%, respectively.
Two TOP-15 brands remained in the red in January 2020: MITSUBISHI (-6.4%) and CHEVROLET (-24.5%).
In January 2020 leader in the new car market was Moscow. Decline of new car sales was shown by only 3 TOP-20 regions – Krasnodar, Perm and Tyumen regions.
