The marketing agency NAPI analyzed the average ownership periods of new corporate cars in 2023-2025. Thus, in 2023, fleets operated cars for an average of 41 months, in 2024 - for 39 months. Over seven months of 2025, the average ownership period of a new car was 38 months.
In January-July of the current year, the ownership periods of cars of German (55 months), Korean (50 months), French (59 months), Czech (61 months) and Japanese (56 months) brands increased. Beginning 2022, fleets have begun to actively purchase and operate Chinese cars, the ownership period has increased to 17 months. At the same time, the ownership period of Russian brand cars decreased from 35 months in 2023 to 32 months over the first seven months of the current year.
In 2022, 32 thousand new Chinese cars were sold to corporate clients, of which 25.9% of cars entered the used car market during the period from 2022 to January-July 2025. Similarly, in 2023 - 139 thousand cars and 20.8%, in 2024 - 171 thousand cars and 9.1%. Since the beginning of the current year, 53.1 thousand new Chinese cars have been purchased, the share of resale was 0.8%.
