New LCV market
In January-November 2020, sales of new LCV1 amounted to 96.35 thousand units – by 7.7% less than in the same period of 2019.
New LCV sales increased by 0.1% in November 2020 and amounted to 10.15 thousand units.
The rating of regions by new LCV sales in November 2020 was headed by Moscow, the Moscow region and Saint Petersburg.
A number of regional TOP-20 markets showed negative sales dynamics. The sharpest decline in sales was recorded in the Bashkortostan Republic– 24%.
New LCV sales in Omsk and Tver regions grew by more than 50%.

The market leader GAZ sold 3.94 thousand light commercial vehicles in November 2020, which was a 10.5% decline on November 2019. The second place was traditionally occupied by UAZ, sales of which amounted to 1.39 thousand units (-22.3%). FORD also entered the TOP-3 with a result of 1.30 thousand LCV sold (+20.4%).
Four TOP-10 brands showed negative sales dynamics. The sharpest decline was shown by UAZ (-22.3%).
The largest increase in LCV sales was shown by CITROEN: the demand for light commercial vehicles of this brand increased almost 3-fold on November 2019.

New car market
Following results of eleven months of 2020, 1 million 302 thousand new cars were sold in the Russian market, which was a 7.5% decline on eleven months of 2019.
In November 2020 the new car market decreased by 4.2% on November 2019 to 130.75 thousand units.
The rating of regions by new car sales in November 2020 was headed by Moscow, the Moscow region and Saint Petersburg.
Against the background of the decrease in demand for new cars, six regional TOP-20 markets showed positive sales dynamics. Sales in the Khanty-Mansi AR and the Republic of Udmurtia doubled.

Sales of the market leader LADA increased by 13.6% in November 2020 and amounted to 30.98 thousand units. TOP-3 traditionally included KIA and HYUNDAI. Sales of KIA cars decreased by 8.6%, HYUNDAI-by 9.0%.
In addition to LADA, sales growth among TOP-15 brands was shown by SKODA, BMW, MAZDA, LEXUS, GEELY and CHERY.
