In January-December 2020, 74.12 thousand new trucks were sold in the Russian market, which was a 7.4% decline year-on-year.
In December 2020, new truck sales fell by 7.8% on December 2019 and amounted to 9.38 thousand units.
In December 2020, new truck sales of the market leader KAMAZ amounted to 3.31 thousand units, which was a 1.8% decline on December 2019. Despite a 23.1% drop in sales, GAZ took the second place with a result of 0.90 thousand sold vehicles. TOP-3 also included MAN, which sold 0.60 thousand trucks (-3.2%).
The largest increase in truck sales among TOP-10 brands was shown by MAZ (+51.3%).
Sales of SCANIA and ISUZU brands fell by more than 25%.

Leader among regional markets in December 2020 became Moscow, in which new truck sales amounted to 0.69 thousand units (-2.8%). It was followed by the Moscow region and Tatarstan Republic.
Against the background of the decrease in demand for new trucks, six TOP-20 regional markets showed positive sales dynamics. New truck sales in Smolensk and Belgorod regions grew by more than 50%.

New bus sales were down by 1.7% in December
In January-December 2020, 13.27 thousand new buses were sold in the Russian market, which was a 4.4% decline year-on-year.
in December 2020 the new bus market decreased by 1.7% on December 2019. A total of 1.73 thousand new buses were sold in the Russian market in December 2020.
Bus sales of the market leader PAZ decreased by 13.7% in December 2020 and amounted to 0.88 thousand units. The second place was occupied by NEFAZ, sales of which increased more than 3-fold to 0.26 thousand units. TOP-3 also included LIAZ, which sold 0.26 thousand buses – by 8.3% more than in December 2019.
