ew truck sales continue to decline
In January-August 2020, 43.7 thousand new trucks were sold in the Russian market, which was a 10.0% decline year-on-year.
In August 2020, sales of new trucks fell by 9.0% to 5.96 thousand units.
In August 2020, new truck sales of the market leader KAMAZ remained at the level of the last year and amounted to 2.40 thousand units. The second place was occupied by GAZ, sales of which fell by 20.0% to 0.72 thousand units. TOP-3 also included SCANIA, which sold 0.37 thousand trucks similar to the result of August 2019.

Leaders by new truck sales in August 2020 were the Moscow region, Moscow and Tatarstan Republic.
Despite the general decline in new truck sales in August 2020, a number of regional TOP-20 markets showed noticeable positive dynamics: sales grew by more than 40% in Tatarstan Republic, Krasnodar region, Yamalo-Nenets AR, Vladimir and Sverdlovsk regions.

ew bus sales fell by 30%
In January-August 2020, 7.95 thousand new buses were sold in the Russian market, which was a 7.3% decline year-on-year.
In August 2020 the market of new buses fell by 30.1% on August 2019. A total of 0.86 thousand new buses were sold in the Russian market in August 2020.
In August 2020 bus sales of the market leader PAZ decreased by 18.3% and amounted to 0.58 thousand units. The second place was occupied by NEFAZ, sales of which increased by 27.3% to 0.14 thousand units. TOP-3 also included the Chinese YUTONG, which sold 0.03 thousand buses – half the result of August 2019.
