According to Russian Automotive Market Research, 1.8 thousand cars were purchased under financial leasing¹ in April 2020.

In April 2020, Lada cars were in the greatest demand among lessees. Their share was 5.2%. In April 2019², the LADA share was 5.7%.

In April 2019, VOLKSWAGEN occupied the leading position. Its share was 11.0%. In April 2020, VOLKSWAGEN moved to third place with a 4.2% share.

In April 2020, 1.6 thousand trucks were purchased under financial leasing.

VOLVO trucks took the leading position in April 2020 – 12.4%, while in April 2019 their share was 7.9%.

The Russian KAMAZ trucks showed the second result – their share in April 2020 was 11.7% against 8.0% in April 2019.

In April 2020, 0.6 thousand LCV were purchased under financial leasing.

In April 2020, Russian brands accounted for 47.5% of LCV purchased under financial leasing.

Light commercial vehicles of the Russian GAZ brand are in the greatest demand: their share was 27.8% in April 2020 against 29.8% in April 2019.

In April 2020, 0.04 thousand buses were purchased under financial leasing.

In April 2020, the largest share belonged to PAZ buses – 60.0%. In the same period of 2019, their share was 40.7%.

TOP-5 brands in April 2020 also included GAZ, NEMAN, MERCEDES-BENZ and LIAZ.

In April 2020, 0.5 thousand trailers were purchased under financial leasing,

IN April 2020, Tonar trailers occupied key positions - 43.5%. In April 2019, their share was 5.0%.

It should be noted that in April 2019 trailers of German brands – SCHMITZ (15.6%), KRONE (6.6%) and KASSBOHRER (5.1%), took the leading positions.
