The first batch of KAMAZ-65955 tractor units in an anti-sanctions design has been assembled at the company's automobile plant. The heavy-duty truck is designed for operation as part of a road train with a trailer.
The first prototypes were assembled at the automobile plant in mid-2024. In the past year, 59 tractor units have already found their customers. 360 such vehicles are planned to be assembled in 2025.
The anti-sanction version of KAMAZ-65955 three-axle tractor unit received the more powerful engine capacity of 560 HP. It is equipped with both an electric hydraulic power steering and a dual-circuit steering. The gear box, transfer case, and pneumatic equipment were also replaced. A 5-leaf spring on the front suspension will provide greater smoothness and stability. To increase the load capacity, the rear suspension of the heavy-duty truck was also reinforced.
