Functional prototypes of the Atom electric car have passed the first series of tests at the FSUE NAMI landfill and on public roads. The races were held jointly with specialists of the Moscow State Technical University named after N.E. Bauman.
The tests consisted of dynamic tests, during which the car with the maximum permissible mass moved along various types of pavement on the territory of the landfills. In addition, the model was tested on public roads – it was run along a specially designed route that included urban roads, suburban highways and motorways. Functional prototypes were equipped with sensors that record the effects on suspension and body elements.
Recall that the start of serial production of the Atom electric car based on Moskvich is scheduled for mid-2025.
