The Russian version of GAC GS8 has received a new configuration

GAC GS8 crossover for the Russian market has received an updated GL version. According to Autonews, with reference to the brand's press service, the car received a 5-seat layout and an enlarged luggage compartment.

The power unit of the model is represented by 2.0-liter 231-HP engine. The equipment includes three-zone climate control with air ionization, a windshield with additional noise insulation, heated seats in the cabin, a ventilation function for front seats, electrically driven driver's and front passenger's seats, six airbags, a 12.3-inch digital dashboard, a 14.6-inch multi-function touch screen, multimedia with eight speakers, a rear-view camera, etc.

New options include a full winter package with heated seats and steering wheel, CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, and front seat ventilation.

The cost of the updated modification has not yet been disclosed.
