During a visit to the Belarusian Belgee plant by an Autonews correspondent, a representative of the enterprise reported on preparations for the construction of the second workshop. According to the manufacturer's forecasts, this will allow not only to unload the existing enterprise, but also to arrange the assembly of new models on a fundamentally different CMA platform.

At the moment, current production capacities allow assembling up to 80 thousand cars per year at the Belarusian plant with an initial design capacity of 60 thousand units. Modernization of the enterprise and optimization of processes have already allowed to increase productivity from 4 minutes to 2.5 minutes per car. In the future, the company will be able to produce up to 100 thousand or even 120 thousand cars per year.
