AVTOTOR announces the production of its own electric car in 2024
Avtotor announced the start of production of an electric car of its own design in the first quarter of 2024.
The first pilot batch of frame-panel compact electric cars will roll off the assembly line of the enterprise by the end of 2023. A total of 200 units will be released as part of this batch. Over 12 months of 2024, 1,100 electric cars will be assembled, and in 2025 – 2,200 units.
The new electric car was developed by Avtotor's own forces and is based on the original chassis, on which a frame-panel body weighing 106 kg is mounted. At the same time, it is 79% recyclable.

AvtoVAZ has launched production of LADA Vesta family cars with a new 6-speed manual gear box. According to Kommersant, this type of gear box is used for the first time in production cars of the enterprise.
