VIS JSC, an enterprise of the OAT Group, which is part of the KAMAZ structure, improved the process of manufacturing a connecting fitting. This is the result of the introduction of the kaizen proposal of the plant's employees.

It is reported that the processing of the M12 thread with a tap during manufacture of a connecting fitting does not always give the desired quality. It was often necessary to modify the tool, which led to an increased consumption of the cutting tool. As part of the improvements, the tap treatment was replaced with a threading cutter. This made it possible to achieve the stability of the product size and increase the tool durability.
