Urban public transport park in Zhodino will be replenished with MAZ electric buses

Minskaya Pravda reports that a pilot project is being implemented in the Belarusian city of Zhodino, which provides for the replacement of all urban public diesel buses with electric buses.

The project includes the production of 14 MAZ-303E large electric buses, the design and manufacture of two MAZ-306E small electric buses for operation on urban routes, as well as the creation of charging infrastructure and modernization of the production base for the operation of rolling stock. The implementation period of the unique project is 2023-2024.

Deliveries of MAZ passenger vehicles to Vitsebskoblavtotrans have started. Thus, 16 units of the 75 specified in the contract have already been transferred to the customer.
