In September, the winch manufacturing site of TMP PTC, KAMAZ subsidiary in the Yaroslavl Region, turned 4 years old. The new production site of the plant contributes to solving the tasks of the state program on import substitution.
The center of responsibility for the production of automotive gear winches for KAMAZ was established at the Tutaev Motor Plant in 2020. The production of a new type of products for TMP PTC was transferred from NEFAZ, KAMAZ subsidiary in Bashkortostan. In 4 years, TMP employees have fully mastered the production of new products and have reached a high level of its mass production, having already manufactured more than 20 thousand winches by this day. The pace of production of these products is growing. In 4 years, the volume of winch production increased 5-fold. Currently, these products are in particular demand, as they contribute to solving the issue of import substitution.
The model range of winches has been expanded. Since April, delivery of a new type of LT 100 traction winches with a force of at least 8 tons has begun to KAMAZ. Resource tests of a prototype traction winch model 530 with a force of 25 tons were carried out. The development of production of this type of winch by PTC TMZ is carried out within the framework of the "Import Substitution" state program. KAMAZ tractor units will be equipped with 530 hydraulic winches.
Moreover, within the framework of the project, TMP fulfilled the order of the Oka shipyard for this type of product, replacing a foreign partner. There is a successful experience of operation of TMP winches on special purpose vehicles in the oil and gas industry.
