A project on dispatching and monitoring vehicles has been implemented at NEFAZ, KAMAZ subsidiary in Bashkortostan.
The system was supplied by IT subsidiary of KAMAZ Digital giant ("KAMAZ Digital Platform") with the CHELNOK-Cargo software product, which includes a web panel for the dispatcher on a personal computer, mobile applications for the driver on a tablet and for the customer's workshop on a smartphone.
The system provides data on the current location of the vehicle at any given time, its route, the time spent traveling or waiting at the destination, and also tracks the status of drivers (on the way/ loading/ unloading/available). Thus, the system allows full control over the use of corporate vehicles and the work of drivers, distributes trips fairly and evenly between customer workshops, reducing the idle mileage of vehicles. Based on these data, the company can analyze the actual workload of the fleet, evaluate the effectiveness of its work from different angles and subsequently improve its performance.
