The PROFIT GROUP digital platform has been implemented in Uralaz

In 2020, a project on the digital transformation of AZ URAL was launched, but due to the geopolitical situation, the plant decided to abandon the foreign information system, which partially performs production management functions, and switch to Russian software.

To digitalize production, the PROF-IT GROUP system integrator was selected with experience in implementing similar projects on the 1C platform: Enterprise in the automotive industry. The basis for building a new production management information system was the PROF-IT MES solution on the 1C platform: Enterprise created by PROF-IT GROUP based on the best Russian and foreign industry experience.

The MES and QMS functional units were implemented as part of the project. The MES unit guarantees traceability of production, allows synchronizing the work of services throughout the entire process cycle, automatically issues tasks for subassemblies using the pulling method, supports the execution of the process, automated control of the execution of key operations and online monitoring of the assembly line with visualization and notification according to specified parameters and conditions.

In the future, it is planned to functionally expand and develop the project based on the implemented platform: the creation of the ANDON system, integration with a smart tool and diagnostic stands, replication of the created solution to new production facilities. Work continues on automation of quality control in production. The issue of implementing a global QMS Professional quality management system throughout the life cycle of products is being considered.
