The new TF21 hatchback by Iran Khodro may appear in Russia

The Iranian company Iran Khodro has presented a new hatchback called TF21. According to the developers, the car is based on the same platform as Peugeot 206. It is also reported that the manufacturer plans to modernize the base of the French concern and adapt it to the needs of a modern driver.

The new hatchback debuted as a prototype, but it has been already known that the novelty will receive a serial version in the future. The model is equipped with 1.6-liter air breather engine capacity of 110 HP, coupled with 5-speed manual gear box. The version with 6-speed gear box will also be offered to customers. An additional package of options will also include a stabilization system, tire pressure sensors and light and rain sensors. Additionally, TF21 will be equipped with a multimedia system with a seven-inch screen.

Recall that IKCO has recently presented the front-wheel drive Ray crossover. The Iranian company plans to return to Russia and establish car sales in early 2023. Therefore, it is possible that TF21 hatchback will also be presented in the Russian market.
