The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Volgograd region invests in a large batch of Volgabus gas-powered buses

Bus manufacturers, Volgabus LLC and Volgabus Volzhsky LLC, members of the Volgabus Group holding, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Volgograd region Government and the administration of the city district — Volzhsky signed special investment contracts (SPIC).

During the term of the contracts (9.5 years), the enterprises undertake to produce more than 4,000 low-floor buses running on liquefied and compressed natural gas. The remaining parties of the contract shall ensure the stability of business conditions for investors within the limits of their powers.

Moreover, within the framework of the contracts, it is planned to switch to components manufactured in Russia, which should reduce the industry dependence on imported components.
