The KAMAZ plant laboratory is mastering new equipment
The active development of new devices continues in the central plant laboratory of the KAMAZ Automobile Plant.
The equipment that appeared in the metallurgy and petrochemistry laboratory made it possible to determine the chemical composition of metals and alloys for several minutes, while the ATOS-5 scanner from the technical measurement room finds errors more quickly by comparing the part with the ideal model.
A new SPAS-05 spectrometer is now used to obtain a more detailed analysis of metals and alloys, both ferrous and non-ferrous. New devices are gradually replacing methods for determining the composition of metal using chemical analyses. The nature of the laboratory assistant's work is also changing; data analytics is coming to the fore.

Lada Azimut engines have successfully passed tests for compliance with the requirements of Euro-6 emission standard. According to the press service of AvtoVAZ, tests were carried out in a climate chamber, including at extreme temperatures (from -30 to +30 °C), in preparation for obtaining Vehicle Type Approval.
