The Gislaved tire plant was restarted in Ulyanovsk
The Gislaved tire plant in Ulyanovsk (former Bridgestone, part of the Cordiant group) has resumed production, the press service of the holding reports.
At the moment, the plant has passed all the necessary tests and certifications to resume production. The production volume at the relaunched enterprise is expected to amount to about 1.2 million tires per year. The design capacity is 2.4 million tires per year.
The first product released after the factory reopens will be the summer model of the Cordiant brand.
