The first Russian customer received Volkswagen Golf

The solemn presentation of the first Volkswagen Golf in Russia took place in the Axel City dealership in Saint Petersburg: the customer chose the version GTI equipped with 245-HP engine.
In the Russian market, the eighth-generation Golf is offered in two versions: Exclusive equipped with 150-HP petrol engine paired with 8-speed automatic gear box (priced from 2 558 000 rubles), as well as a sports GTI with 245-HP unit combined with 7-speed automatic gear box (priced from 3 090 000 rubles).

The Czech Skoda and the Korean Hyundai have registered their trademarks in Russia, according to FIPS data.
For example, Hyundai has patented the Hyundai Kona trademark, a compact crossover imported into Russia under the parallel import scheme. The application was received directly from Hyundai Motor company located in Korea. The exclusive right to the trademark is valid until summer of 2034, and it can be used to sell cars.

The Russian Haval plant in the Tula region has produced over 450 thousand cars since the beginning of its work (since 2019), accordung to the press service of the Russian representative office of GWM.
HAVAL Jolion (more than 230 thousand cars were produced), as well as F7 and F7x crossovers (a total of more than 145 thousand cars were produced) are leaders among them. HAVAL Dargo is on third place (about 36 thousand cars).
