Peresvet trolleybuses with autonomous running began to work in Izhevsk. A total of 19 eco-friendly vehicles were purchased under the "Safe High-Quality Roads" national project.
There are 27 seats in Peresvet, while the total passenger capacity is 90 people. The trolleybus is equipped with an electric motor capacity of 156 HP and a 62 kW/h traction battery. The electronically controlled suspension is complemented by a body tilt system.
The battery unit is designed and manufactured in Russia using a new patented technology. It features the gravimetric energy density, which is significantly higher than that of other existing Russian batteries. Night charging of a lithium-ion rechargeable traction battery is carried out from a 380 V contact network.
