

The first electric bus route in the city of Kursk was launched in a solemn atmosphere, along which KAMAZ electric buses will run.
10 new KAMAZ-6282 electric buses will carry residents of Kursk along route No. 7E "Moskovskaya Square – Oncological Center". The event dedicated to the launch of the new electric buses was attended by First Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Andrey Kostyuk, Governor of the Kursk Region Roman Starovoit, Minister of Transport and Highways of the region Alexander Zamaraev, and other leaders.
The new electric bus route will allow patients of the oncological dispensary, residents of the Main Thoroughfare to get to the city center faster and will enhance the transport accessibility of the neighborhood. The route length is 37.8 km, the traffic interval of KAMAZ electric buses varies from 15 to 20 minutes. Together with electric transport, the capital of the Kursk region has purchased three charging stations, two of them are ultra–fast - charging time will be 10 minutes. At the final stop of route "Oncological Center", a stop-and-turn area has been built for the inter-route parking of electric buses and buses, which allows to accommodate up to 10 large and medium vehicles at the same time. It is equipped in compliance with the road safety requirements.
