New "green" Volgabus buses will enter Vologda

Volgabus Group Holding has won a tender for the supply of eco-friendly buses to the city of the North-Western Federal District. The corresponding contract value of about 306 million rubles will be signed on May 23, 2022.

The vehicle will run on methane. Its capacity will be about 95 people. While low-floor buses will be equipped with air conditioner, a video surveillance system and LED flight indicators.

Eco-friendly buses will run on new routes that are currently being developed by the Vologda authorities. It is expected that they will optimize the operation of public transport in the city, taking into account the opinions of passengers and carriers.
