MTP has modernized Belarus tractor.  The updated special purpose vehicle has switched to composite body panels. The fenders and hoods of Belarus 80/82 will now be made of SMC materials. SMC materials are a compound based on styrized unsaturated polyester resins filled with fiberglass and mineral fillers (calcium carbonate and aluminum hydroxide), pigments and catalysts.

In addition, square headlights of the new models have been replaced with round ones, the interior has been modernized, and the cabin has been equipped with all-glass doors. Production of the upgraded MTZ-80/82 is planned to be launched this year.
