

The Minsk Automobile Plant jointly with the Russian Itelma group of companies has created a new version of MAZ 303E23 large electric bus, designed to meet the requirements of Saint Petersburg. The electric bus features one hundred percent localization within the Union State, using exclusively Belarusian and Russian components.
The frame of the electric bus and the front axle were manufactured at the MAZ plant, aluminum profiles, plastic used in the cladding and cladding materials, interior and exterior parts, seats, tires, electrical equipment components, glazing, a new generation driver's workplace, a multiplex system, steering gear and braking systems were also manufactured in Belarus.
The power unit manufactured in Russia is represented by a traction electric motor capacity of 150 kW, and lithium-nickel-manganese-cobalt-oxide batteries (NMC) with an energy volume of 440 kW/h, which have a high specific capacity and feature a long service life, have been produced in the Russian Federation. This makes it possible to ensure an autonomous range of at least 250 km and avoid the need to install a special charging infrastructure in the city.
