LADA Granta has taken the first place by online car sales in Russia since the beginning of 2024, according to the results of a joint study by Sberbank Insurance and SberAuto service for buying and selling cars.

The study revealed that the most popular cars among Russians in January-March of the current year were those of Japanese (23% of the total number of cars purchased), German (18%) and Russian brands (15%).

LADA is the leader among brands with a share of 13%, and Kia, Hyundai, Volkswagen and Toyota cars accounted for about 7% of online sales during the reporting period, respectively. Of these models, LADA Granta, Hyundai Solaris, Ford Focus, Kia Rio, Volkswagen Polo and LADA Vesta are the greatest demand, respectively.
