KAMAZ PTC is taking part in the International Economic Forum "Russia – the Islamic World: KazanForum", which is held these days in Kazan on the territory of the KAZAN EXPO IEC. High-tech vehicles of K5 generation are being demonstrated at the KAMAZ stand.
First of all, it is KAMAZ-65956 (6x4) tractor unit, a representative of the heavy-duty family of K5 vehicles, a new Russian tractor unit with a load capacity of 108 tons and rear drive axles. The total weight of the road train will be 120 tons. Production is scheduled to start in 2026. The truck will be powered by 560-HP engine coupled with 16-speed manual gear box.
The latest generation KAMAZ-6595 (6x4) and KAMAZ-65951 (8x4) dumpers, which are popular with consumers, are also presented to the visitors. These high-performance vehicles are designed to carry bulk construction, industrial, and household goods. A special feature of K5 generation KAMAZ dumpers is the reinforced frame and drive axles designed for an axial load of 16 tons. The use of structural solutions provided the vehicles with a high load capacity of 24.2 and 30.7 tons, respectively. The vehicles are equipped with a dump body with a volume of 20 and 25 m3. The platform has a heated bottom and side walls with exhaust gases. Dumpers are equipped with a fuel efficient KAMAZ P6 engine and manual gear box.

A special feature of this vehicle is the presence of an additional lifting axle, which increases the total weight of the road train to 44 tons without violating the law in the field of weight limitation. KAMAZ-65659 is equipped with 482-HP engine coupled with automatic gear box and is designed to work with semi-trailers with a hitch height of 1,150-1,170 mm.
